Want to get involved in Fan Culture?

Are you a self-confessed super fan of a certain band or artist? Do you queue up ahead of concerts to get a good spot? Have you made friends for life through going to gigs? Do you collect merchandise or souvenirs from shows? Maybe you've even hand made your own outfits to wear to concerts? If any of this sounds like you, we'd love to hear your stories!

Although Fan Culture is currently based in the UK, the long term aim is to document fan experiences worldwide. Submitting your stories digitally is the easiest way to get involved; we're keen to hear from music fans of any genre to help continue to grow the project by creating a digital archive.

How to submit:

To help build a community archive you can submit your own stories to the Fan Culture project. We're particularly interested in hearing your own stories and shared experiences of being a music fan. Sending in your story via a voice note is the best way to get featured, but you can also write your stories too. Please note, by submitting you are consenting to your stories being shared online and for use in a possible exhibition.
